Developer V-Leader has submitted new plans for $140 million towers at Collingwood after failing to sell the site in March.

The latest development proposal for 128-144 Wellington Street included two 15-storey towers; a 197 room residential hotel with conference rooms and rooftop bar and gym as well as an office building with 21,844sq m of space and four retail sites on the ground floor.

V-Leader tried to sell the corner block in the “buzzing” Melbourne city fringe via an expressions of interest campaign marketing it a “fast-evolving” precinct with “strong development potential”.
