The owner of a local business which needs room to grow has bought a vacant office building in Mulgrave for $9.1 million.

The freestanding two-level office building at 362 Wellington Road, about 20 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, was refurbished in 2017. The seller is a private investor.

Savills Australia’s Benson Zhou, Clinton Baxter and Julian Heatherich struck the deal, reporting continuing demand from investors, owner-occupiers and value-adding buyers in spite of a volatile and uncertain market.
