It’s not. AUS Finance Group have an extremely experienced Product Investment Committee, who assess each transaction on its individual merits. As part of an initial risk assessment, AUS Finance Group’s Product Investment Committee applies a risk based approach to real estate investment, and follows a disciplined process to ensure risks are properly understood and managed.

The asset selection and feasibility assessment is undertaken in partnership with the property developer, though AUS Finance Group will approach the financial feasibility analysis from a capital management perspective. AUS Finance Group will consider the profitability of the project to the developer, profitability potential to equity investors, and stress test contingency buffers and debt cover ratios.
